Privacy policy

This notice covers the OurDaily application on iOS and Android and the website ourdaily.it. It is written under articles 13 and 14 of the European Regulation 2016 on 679, the GDPR.

The data controller is NRC Company, the publisher of OurDaily. Full company details, including the VAT number and the registered office, are published on nrc.company. For anything about this document write to info@nrc.company.

The main point

OurDaily is built so that we do not have your data. There is no account, no application server, no analytics and no advertising. Tasks, routines, focus sessions, texts and notes stay in the memory of your device and in the system backup you choose to enable.

What the application handles

We do not handle special categories of data under article 9 of the GDPR. If you write health information inside a note, that note still stays on your device only.

Purchases

The monthly subscription and the lifetime purchase go through the App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google act as independent controllers for the payment and the receipt. We receive only aggregated sales figures, without your name and without your address.

Legal basis: performance of the contract under article 6 paragraph 1 letter b of the GDPR.

The website ourdaily.it

The site is made of static pages. It uses no profiling cookies, no analytics and loads no third party resources. It saves two technical preferences in your browser: the language you pick and the confirmation that you read the notice. You can remove them by clearing the site data in your browser.

The hosting provider records technical logs, such as the IP address and the time of the request, for security and for the operation of the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest under article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the GDPR. Logs are kept for the technical time needed and in any case no longer than twelve months.

Artificial intelligence

OurDaily sends nothing to artificial intelligence services. The feature that splits a task into steps is a local rule engine, written and verified by us, that runs on the device even on a plane. We do not train models with your content and we take no automated decisions producing legal effects on you under article 22 of the GDPR.

Recipients

We do not share personal data with third parties, because we do not hold any. The parties that may process data in connection with the service are the hosting provider of the website and the Apple and Google application stores for the purchase.

Transfers outside the European Union

We transfer no data outside the European Union. Apple and Google may do so within their own services, on the basis of the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Retention

Content stays on your device until you delete it. In settings you can export everything into one file and you can delete everything in two taps. Uninstalling the app removes the local data.

Your rights

You can exercise the rights under articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Since we do not hold your content, the fastest route for access and portability is the export function inside the app, and the fastest route for erasure is the Delete everything command.

For anything else write to info@nrc.company. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Minors

OurDaily can be used by minors with adult supervision. The app collects no data and requires no registration. Purchases follow the parental control rules of the application store.

Changes

If we change something substantial we publish the new version on this page and update the date above. If a change introduces any new data collection, we announce it inside the app before applying it.
